These gathered long skirts are made one-by-one by artisans at a studio in southern Japan's Fukuoka Prefecture. Each item is hand-dyed, so the hue may vary slightly, but the result is a one-of-a-kind color.
The hemp-blend fabric is created by a master weaver. It features a unique wrinkled look created by shaping the fabric with different densities and a light texture unique to hemp.
